The "Skinny-B***h Diet"

So if you know me - you know I will eat anything in sight. And since I'm a starving artist, I go under the belief that I should eat everything available because - who knows? - it might be a while before I get a decent meal again. That and I love food and am more concerned about missing good food rather than the repercussions of eating til I feel I have to throw up. HOWEVER, lately I've decided to try the whole vegetarian thing (and my version of vegetarian is very pseudo-vegetarian). Not to mention I made that frozen sausage pizza the other day because I still have meat products in my fridge, and I'm not about to let that go to waste! But tonight I resumed what my friend would call the "Skinny-B***h Diet." This included:

Post-work day bagel with peanut-butter
Sauteed red bell pepper with walnuts
Spinach
Tea

You think I'm crazy, right? It is actually really yummy and fills me up (hard to accomplish). Who knows, maybe it's the fact that I have to actually cook it that makes it more satisfying...doubtful. And the best part is that it's CHEAP! Hooray for nice meals that go along with being poor! Okay, now to finish my tea and do some yoga before I go to bed. Looking forward to the 7am rehearsal!

  1. Good luck. I could never go vegetarian, mainly because I like only a few veggies. But I think it's cool for people who can. Cooking your own food definitely makes it more satisfying, and I can't quite explain it. But whatever works I suppose. It's great to hear you are doing well and I can't wait to read your blog. =)
